Notes
  1. The EETS edition of the text has "Ioyning," but a count of the number of minims and the placement of the tittle for the i indicates that it has to be two n's, most likely before the "i."
  2. The EETS edition concludes this and the line following with a semi-colon and period, respectively. I believe MacCraken did so due to the otiose mark terminating each of these lines, but this does not occur consistently throughout so in the interests of being conservative I am not following suit.
